bridal makeup artist based on the Cambridgeshire and Suffolk border
Hi, I'm Hannah
First of all, thank you for being here. Whether you’ve followed along on Instagram for a while or found me while searching for soft glam bridal makeup across East Anglia, I’m so glad you’re here.
I specialise in soft glam bridal makeup that feels like you - just the most confident, radiant version. Makeup that enhances rather than masks, photographs beautifully, and lasts from the first look to the final dance move.
Over the years, I’ve become known not just for the finish of my work, but for the feeling I bring to a wedding morning. Calm, organised, and quietly confident. The kind of presence that allows you to fully relax and enjoy the start of your day.
From the moment you enquire, I’ll guide you through the process with expert advice and a reassuring presence that stays with you right through to the aisle.
My favourite part? That quiet moment when you look in the mirror and see yourself - elevated, radiant, and completely ready.
the story behind Masonic Makeup
My journey
I didn’t begin my career in the beauty industry.
Before bridal mornings and soft glam, I worked in the corporate world within HR and Talent Acquisition at a law firm. On paper, it made sense. In reality, it never quite lit that fire in my belly.
At 25, I made the decision to explore what did.
That curiosity led me to makeup. I trained, gained my accreditation, invested in further education with artists I admired, and quietly began building something of my own.
Was it daunting? Absolutely.
Was there fear of judgement? Of course.
But there was also a deep sense that this was the path I needed to follow.
I started with occasion makeup - refining my technique, building confidence, learning how to work under pressure. Bridal came naturally after that. The artistry mattered, but so did the experience. The atmosphere. The organisation. The feeling in the room.
Eventually, I left my 9–5 and committed fully to Masonic Makeup.
Today, I’m proud to be a six-times recommended supplier, with over 250 five-star reviews and a diary intentionally capped at 50 weddings per year - not because of a lack of demand, but because I care deeply about delivering a calm, considered and premium experience to every bride I work with.
As the business continues to grow, so does the experience I offer.
From 2027 onwards, Masonic Makeup expands into beautifully coordinated bridal hair and makeup across East Anglia, thoughtfully managed under one booking and designed to feel effortless from start to finish.
It’s been a journey of trusting my instincts, building something I believe in, and refining it year after year.
And I truly believe that care carries through into the work you see - and the way you feel on your wedding morning.
the person behind Masonic Makeup
Beyond the makeup chair
I’m an introverted extrovert. I thrive on the energy of a wedding morning - the music, the anticipation, the buzz - but I recharge quietly afterwards. Balance is important to me.
1
I’m dyslexic - and proud of it. Spreadsheets aren’t my strength, but creativity, instinct and reading the room absolutely are.
2
When I’m not on a wedding morning, you’ll usually find me walking my Maltipoo, Leo, planning our next sunshine escape, or unwinding with a Coke Zero and something sweet.

the kind of wedding morning I believe in
If I were the bride
I’m not married (yet) - but after years of being part of hundreds of wedding mornings, I know exactly the kind of atmosphere I’d create for my own.
It wouldn’t be chaotic.
It wouldn’t be rushed.
And it wouldn’t feel overcomplicated.
It would be calm. Light-filled. Thoughtfully styled.
A refined, neutral palette. Clean lines. Beautiful textures. Nothing overly fussy or trend-led - just timeless details chosen with intention.
Soft glam makeup that enhances rather than transforms. Hair with polished texture - effortless, yet structured. A timeline that allows space to breathe. Music playing gently in the background. The right people in the room.
Beautiful, but never overwhelming.
A morning that feels organised, relaxed and completely at ease - not something to get through, but something to truly enjoy.
Because how you feel in those first few hours sets the tone for everything that follows.
