Emily's wedding day
Some weddings are all about the ceremony. Others are all about the celebration.
Although Emily and Sam had already married in an intimate registry office ceremony, their wedding at Poets House was the day they shared with all of the people they love most. With friends and family travelling from near and far, including one bridesmaid flying all the way from Australia. it was a day filled with laughter, happy tears and unforgettable memories.
From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere was relaxed, joyful and full of excitement. It was the perfect start to a truly special day.

The venue: Poets House, Cambridgeshire
Nestled in the heart of Ely, Poets House is one of Cambridgeshire's most elegant wedding venues.
With beautiful views of Ely Cathedral, stylish interiors and everything within walking distance, it offers the perfect balance of historic charm and contemporary luxury.
The sunshine certainly made an appearance too, giving Eloise & Mitch the most incredible backdrop to capture Emily and Sam’s day.
The bridal vision
Emily's vision was effortlessly chic.
She wanted to feel like the very best version of herself, with timeless makeup that would never date. Paired with beautiful Hollywood waves by Lucy Daplyn, the overall look felt elegant, modern and completely true to her.
One of my favourite parts of the morning was seeing Emily surrounded by her bridesmaids, all of whom had been friends since school. It was such a lovely atmosphere, and even nicer for me as they were all familiar faces from my own school days too.
The makeup look
Emily and bridesmaids chose my Signature Bridal Makeup.
We created soft glam makeup using warm golden tones through the eyes, flawless yet wearable skin, softly sculpted bronzer, a healthy flush of blusher, delicate cluster lashes and timeless nude-pink lips inspired by the iconic Pillow Talk look.
Each bridesmaid looked polished and radiant while still looking completely like themselves, creating a beautifully cohesive bridal party without anyone feeling overdone.
Why this look worked so well
The beauty of this look was its timelessness.
Every element complemented the overall styling, from the soft Hollywood waves to the elegant setting at Poets House. The makeup photographed beautifully throughout the day while lasting through every hug, happy tear and hour on the dance floor.
More importantly, Emily looked like Emily - just with a little extra confidence.
