Amber'wedding day

Some wedding mornings are relaxed.

Some are glamorous.

And some manage to be both.

Amber’s wedding at Worlington Hall was exactly that.

From the moment I arrived (just four minutes from home, which is always a win!), the atmosphere was full of excitement. The energy was high, the playlist was on, and there was a wonderful buzz around the room as everyone prepared for the day ahead.

With makeup for Amber, five bridesmaids, her mum and three flower girls, it was certainly a busy morning. But thanks to great organisation, a dream bridal party and suppliers working seamlessly together, everything flowed beautifully.

The venue: Worlington Hall, Suffolk

Worlington Hall offers the perfect balance of elegance and practicality for a wedding morning.

One of the biggest advantages of Amber's day was that the bridal party stayed at the venue the night before. It meant there were no early-morning logistics to navigate, no rushing between locations and no waiting for access.

Everyone could simply wake up, enjoy the morning and settle into the celebrations.

Sometimes it's these small decisions that make the biggest difference to how a wedding morning feels.

And with sunshine, blue skies and temperatures reaching 25 degrees in April, the day couldn't have been more perfect.

The bridal vision

Amber was the definition of modern glamour.

Her beautifully embellished gown paired perfectly with a sleek Hollywood wave ponytail created by Katrina Kelly, while her makeup focused on polished skin, defined eyes and a soft glam finish that would photograph beautifully throughout the day.

Even though she is a busy mum of two, Amber had thought of absolutely everything.

Every detail had been carefully considered. Every supplier knew exactly what they were doing. The entire day felt intentional without ever feeling over-planned.

The result was a wedding that felt effortless.

The makeup look

With such a glamorous bridal look, the makeup needed to feel elevated while still allowing Amber's natural beauty to shine through.

We focused on:

• Flawless, long-wearing skin

• Soft glam eyes with definition and depth

• Warmth and structure through the complexion

• A timeless finish that would complement the dress and hairstyle perfectly

The bridal party all wanted slightly different versions of glam to suit their individual features, skin tones and hair colours.

Rather than creating identical looks, we tailored each makeup application to the individual while ensuring everything still felt cohesive when standing together.

The result was polished, beautiful and perfectly balanced.

Why this worked so well

What made this wedding morning so successful wasn't just the makeup.

It was the people.

The bridal party was an absolute dream. Everyone was organised, relaxed and excited to be there.

The suppliers worked together seamlessly.

And because the bridal party stayed at the venue the night before, the entire morning felt calm and straightforward from a logistical perspective.

But the most memorable moment of the day came just before the ceremony.

Amber had arranged for a voice note from her three-year-old daughter to play to her dad before they walked down the aisle together.

There wasn't a dry eye in the room.

Her dad is a full-time wheelchair user, but he was determined to walk Amber down the aisle.

It was one of those moments that reminds you what weddings are really about.

Not just beautiful dresses and perfect makeup.

Family. Love. And memories that stay with you forever.

A note from Amber

“Hannah is the kindest and most beautiful soul. She made me and my whole bridal party feel so incredibly at ease on my wedding morning. Through every single process of planning, to the big day, to after, she was always there and made everything feel so smooth, and easy. I was absolutely obsessed with my make up. It was beyond expectation and the girls all looked absolutely stunning! If you want a make up artist that is more like a friend, then Hannah is your girl. Beyond grateful!”
